Two of us set this up. Frank Underdown and Gordon Piggott – brothers-in-law – just because we think the idea of a Beer Tasting guide across the UK, on the subject of good English beer is a good idea. Not lager – beer. You are free to put up and propose your own tasting notes. What good fun it is to take a good English beer together with good company and compare the flavour and taste and discuss generally that most wonderful liquid called beer.
Please remember this is not a company, but a personal site originally started as a hobby. Ads & affiliate commission support the site and our travel/ beer drinking habit (er… I mean research). Therefore the object is to create the definitive guide to tasting beer and find the very best pubs in the UK. Not selected because they advertised, but shown because pub goers like them and think they are worth a mention. We may in the future take advertising revenue from non-associated businesses – but we will not be influenced by breweries or pubs. What we will be influenced by is what real people say about them.
Oh – and by the way – we will not allow abusive or malicious comments. If the comments are not good – keep them to yourself – and draw your own conclusions if you do not find your pub listed here. If it’s good enough to be mentioned – let us know and we’ll publish it – BUT you must confirm you have no association with the pub you mention other than as an approving visitor.
